If there’s one trait that all dogs share, it’s their love for play. They are likely to play for hours on end and enjoy the prospect of a good night’s sleep after playing. But the homeless dogs out there are wandering around looking for a home
Unfortunately, not all dogs have the luxury of playtime, such as the one in St. Loui it is a homeless dog. The previous owners abandoned the dog and even neglected to remove the leash that restricted its movement forever
Upon discovering the dog hiding underneath a vehicle, St. Louis recognized the need for urgent intervention. The weight of the chain on her body was so great that she couldn’t raise her head properly to look at people. The rescue team tried to lure the dog out of the car by feeding it. When she showed up, they understood why she was having a hard time. The chain that she was dragging on the ground, impeding her movement.
According to the official information posted by a member of the rescue team, the process of gaining the dog’s trust was difficult, but the animal was definitely about to starve. The rescue team persistently placed the food closer to their location, hoping that the dog would eventually feel comfortable and at ease.
In the end, they were able to grab the leash and put the dog in their car. The sheer weight of the leash was evident, giving the rescue team an understanding of how distressed the animal was.
When the dog arrived at the shelter, the rescue team quickly arrived and helped. Despite weighing only 31 pounds, the dog had to be wrapped around a 10-pound leash. The rescue team christened her “Fallon Marie”. After spending a long time wearing a leash every day, now Fallon Marie is much more comfortable, she confidently runs for hours and does the things she loves.
Marie, being an affectionate dog, quickly got used to the rescuers. It seemed like she knew that her ordeal was over, and that she was safe now.
