Arlo was taken to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, where he was given anti-venom, pain medication and CBD oil. He has severe swelling in his neck and face, but he is recovering well and will make a full recovery.

Unfortunately, Arlo wasn’t the only dog treated for a snake bite that day at BluePearl Pet Hospital, according to the facility. Animal Hospital reports that this summer, there have been more than a dozen cases of snake bites in the neighborhood.
