A few weeks ago, a thin orange kitten was discovered outside the office without its mother. This sweet cat he’s only about the size of a pint and wobbles a little on his feet. With the help of the good Samaritans, he was safely transported to Alley Cat Rescue (in Los Angeles).
A kitten named “Frito” has a cleft lip and is only half the size it should be. Despite everything, he was still motivated to eat and satisfied when served. “We treated her for fleas and parasites, and gradually increased her food intake. She is the cutest and very small baby,” Alley Cat Rescue shared.
For the first time in a while, Frito had a full stomach and a comfy bed of his own. The sweet cat with the care of volunteers around the clock, the boy began to gain weight and became aware of everything around him. His energy spiked, and he became very playful and inquisitive. Before getting ready to meet the other animals at the rescue, the little boy insists that his adoptive mother always be by his side.
His meows and meows go unnoticed as they spread through the air and reach the ears of a resident cat named Bubblegum. The resident gray cat has been a great kitten sitter for many fosters brought into the rescue. He heard Frito cry from the kitten’s room and was anxious to meet and say hello.
When their paths finally intersected, Bubblegum couldn’t help but be confused by the uncontrollable energy coming from that small body. It was love at first sight for the ferocious kitten. Frito is enamored with his new friend but has no concept of boundaries as he eagerly tries to play and jump over Bubblegum. The overzealous little guy was excited to say the least.
After taking a break to regain some personal space, Bubblegum returned to teach the mischievous cat some feline etiquette. It didn’t take long for the two to become best friends.
