Little Girl Can’t Stop Crying Tears Of Joy When Her Lost Dog Is Finally Found

For nearly two months, the lost dog Max couldn’t seem to find his way home. He went missing in May in San Antonio, Texas, and his family feared they would never see him again.

And that was until Deputy Perez of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting the arrival of a dog found roaming a local neighborhood.

Perez remembers a flier about a lost dog that went to the substation to find Max. When Perez arrived at the scene where the dog was found, the dog was in fact Max! He immediately called the family to confirm that it was their dog and that they were soon reunited.

No one knows how Max managed to survive on his own for so long, but his family is delighted that he’s back. His two human sisters were especially grateful for the reunion; one person couldn’t stop crying with joy and hugged Max when the dog was returned to them. Little Max is now safe and sound back home thanks to Perez and the good Samaritan who called about the boy’s discovery in the neighborhood.

Dogs are family, and when they go missing, it’s heartbreaking. After the sheriff’s office posted about Max’s sweet reunion with his family on Facebook, the post went viral.

“My goodness, seeing the faces of these little girls is priceless!” said one commenter. “These little creatures have a big impact on our hearts. Thank you Officer Perez for bringing their child back to the family. Love you guys so much!”

The sheriff’s office was also happy to see the reunion and apparently Max was happy too. Now, he won’t have to worry about where to get his next meal or sleep alone on the street.
