As a cat lover, I’ve always thought it couldn’t be something more charming than a fluffy kitten, but this adorable squirrel is too cute to handle; and her story is just as incredible as her beauty. Everybody, meet Jill!
Jill was only a couple of weeks old when Hurricane Isaac hit Louisiana, back in 2012. Nature’s furry let the baby squirrel be injured after falling off her nest. Thankfully, the tiny creature was found by a kind woman who took care of her and helped her to make a full recovery.
Now, the 7-year-old squirrel’s life has dramatically changed. She decided to not go back to the wild but to stay with the people who saved her life. And so glad she did, because Jill is now an internet sensation and her cuteness is overwhelming!
On Instagram, more than 630,000 people are following her step-by-step and they just can’t get enough of it. Described as a “vegetarian, parkour expert whose only fear is the vacuum. But, she loves every Starbucks napkin she meets,” Jill seemed to be born to be a celebrity.
The adorable squirrel spends her days posing and napping. Once she has tuckered herself out by playing, she loves to nap on plush blankets with her beloved mini teddy bear. Squirrels sleep roughly 15 hours a day, so there are countless photos of her and her precious teddy bear sleeping together. Jill cannot nap without her beloved bear.
And trust me, she loves napping. Jill even has her very own miniature teddy bear and she can’t sleep without him. Needless to say, the internet falls in love with the charming duo.
As you probably guessed, her mom is in love with her too and she took Jill everywhere. But the tiny creatures love the most when they’re packing for holidays. “Jill has come with me on vacation ever since I began caring for her — before she was even a year old. She is a pro at long drives,” her human mom says.
