Students Pull Off Daring Uᴘsɪᴅᴇ-Down Rescue Mission To Save Dog Who Fell In Canal

It’s always inspiring when people help animals, but some people really go above and beyond to save a day.

Such was the case of a group of students who performed an impressive somersault to rescue a dog from a canal.

Jack Spencer Furmston and Ben Camphor, a couple of 20-year-old college students in Manchester, England, were walking home from a coffee shop when they saw a stranger in an accident. According to a quick report, a dog named Sumak fell into the Ancoats Canal and its owner, Batu Akyol, was trying to hold onto it with a leash.

When the dog was desperately trying to cling to the wall, Jack and Ben decided to stop and help. “Everybody was panicking,” Ben told MailOnline. “I couldn’t let that dog down and not help, so I put down my jump shirt and got into action.”

As the others join, they embark on a daring rescue mission: Ben crashes his head through a wall as five others hold him back.
