Shelter Staff Arrives To Find Tiny Pup Shivering In A Box Outside Front Gate – Dogs Stories

If you all opened your heart and your home to all and not only to this dog, all our animals in the shelter would have been already adopted twice.

Someone put a small puppy in a box and then left it in deep freezing outside the main entrance of the San Antonio Beast Sanctuary in Texas. Although the ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ ʙᴇᴀsᴛ was ᴄʀᴜᴇʟ, this man at least left her in the sᴀɴᴄᴛᴜᴀʀʏ and sᴀᴠᴇᴅ her life. However, the doggy most probably would have ᴅᴇᴄᴏᴍᴘᴏsed in the deep freeze from ʜʏᴘᴏᴛʜᴇʀᴍɪᴀ, If she wasn’t planted in the morning when staff arrived at Animal Care Services.

After researching, they learned that the uncle came from a poor family, and the owner had a habit of often ᴍɪsᴛʀᴇᴀᴛɪɴɢ the dogs. The son in the family saved the dogs by taking them to a better place.

They quickly brought the puppy in to warm her and gave her food and water. One of their rescue partners, the Texas Animal Protection League, heard about the puppy and agreed to take her in.
The doggy, now named Charlie, will remain with them until she’s old enough to be espoused.

“ Although Charlie is safe now, whoever ditched her didn’t follow the correct process for getting help for a pet – possessed or s.l.a.p.dash,” the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services wrote on Facebook. “ In her time spent in the cardboard box, who knows what could ’ve happened to h.a.n.g her safety.”

They were to check the health of the puppy. “We need to take the dog to the vet so he can check his tail, which apparently is ғʀᴀᴄ.ᴛᴜʀᴇᴅ. We also get him a check-up. This means more expenses and works for us, but luckily the dog will be safe.”
“ This is a memorial for those who find themselves unfit to watch for a pet please do the right thing. ACS is then to help and there are processes in place to keep you and the pet safe. However, please make a report with 311, If you’re helping a slapdash pet. However, please reach out to us, If you need backing with a possessed pet.”

Thanks to the few people who came to the shelter offering their help to protect other animals suffering ᴀʙᴜ.sᴇᴅ or being abandoned in our district and surroundings.
