Welfare group that helps animals looking for donations to bring dogs back to health has been active
Singaporeans are used to seeing the dogs in our community roam the streets and may not even notice them at all.
But even the most emotionless person’s heart ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋ at the sight of this poor, skin-and-bones dog literally.
He needs someone willing to open the door for him or make a donation to bring his health care back to life.
The stray dog was found by passersby. The plight of street dog Bobby was shared by local welfare group Chained Dog Awareness in Singapore in a social media post.
Apparently, he was found wandering the streets by a passerby named Jeanne. The kind woman informed the welfare team and they decided to help him even though there were four other dogs in need of rescue.
When Bobby came to them, he was in a sad state. The ᴜɴꜰᴏʀᴛᴜɴᴀᴛᴇ dog’s body was so emaciated that his ribs were visible. Looks like he hasn’t eaten in weeks. He also has almost no hair left on his body, just a few strands here and there.
It’s not clear what caused him to end up like that. Jeanne took him to the vet, and his overall examination turned out to be good. Thankfully, things aren’t as bad as they seem.
However, he needs loving care in order to fully recover, given his condition. Perception is currently looking for someone to adopt Bobby, someone willing to take the time to take care of his health back and bring stability into his life.
They assure those who are worried that they may not be able to handle the responsibility that he will be very easy to handle. He is currently staying with a foster carer and is said to be well behaved, they added. Not only can he walk on a leash without any problems, but he can also use pads to urinate. Bobby is really a very good boy!
A number of nutritional foods and supplements to enhance Bobby’s health are also welcome.
Seeing a helpless dog in such a pitiful condition is really ʜᴇᴀʀᴛʙʀᴇᴀᴋɪɴɢ, so if you can help the dog in any way, please don’t hesitate.
He will get well again with some proper nutrition, but is anyone willing to take care of him? Hopefully Bobby will find a permanent home where he will no longer sᴛᴀʀᴠᴇ to ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ.
