Petrified And Frozen In Fear, She Had Nowhere To Run To, Nowhere To Go!

A woman helped a stray kitten that was found hiding on a windowsill.

While attending a TNR program in Ohio, Donna, a lifeguard, was out assisting a community of cats when she saw a tiny kitten crouched on a rotting window ledge. Without bringing her cat carrier, she went back to her car to get a box.

“I glanced up at the window sill and saw this kitten shivering, petrified and frozen with fear. She was abandoned by the stray cats (which I take care of),” said Donna.

“I went over and easily grabbed the child from the windowsill. The moment I touched her, she started to whine”.

The anxiety was understandable considering the predicament she was in that she saw turning on the purr engine when she realized she was in safe hands. Donna puts her in her makeshift sling and brings her new friend, NeNe, to the clinic.

Donna found out from the neighbors that there was another kitten in NeNe’s company, which turned out to be her brother.

Donna turns to find him, “the house is shabby and now abandoned where they live, when I reunite them, it’s the sweetest thing. Their love for each other is pure and sweet.” , said Donna.

With some good food, vet visits, deworming and flea treatment, they’re as good as new. Both of these kids had a rough start but now it’s all behind them.

The feline cousin, Nico, has a lot of fluff and is almost a pound lighter than NeNe. Even though he was smaller, he acted like a big brother and always took care of his little sister.

Much softer than NeNe, Nico is actually almost a pound lighter, although he takes the role of eldest brother and protector very seriously.

“NeNe couldn’t find the litter box until Nico arrived. He showed her the ropes. This 1.7-pound kitten knew what to do and NeNe followed in its footsteps.”

Soon, the brothers found themselves in a larger cot with more room to stretch their legs.

“They had an absolute boom with more room and more toys. Nico has gained weight but is still less than a pound. He let NeNe run after her money and keep his own,” added Donna.

“They play hard together, but as soon as you touch them, they start purring. They are pure joy.”

NeNe and Nico met another foster kitten, Willow, and welcomed her as one of them. Nico is the coordinator between the girls. He teaches them how to play and get along.

Very close, these two share a very special bond. “They love to cuddle, purr incessantly and bring nothing but smiles and laughter.” Soon they got the best news!

Nico and NeNe have found their family and are together! There are no words to describe everyone’s joy.

They instilled every bit of the love we had for them after I saved them from a life of horrors, are round, funny little cotton balls ready to give (their forever family) years. year after year joy and love.
