Meet the beautiful, unique chocolate-brown Siberian Husky with piercing blue eyes – Dogs Stories

Meet the beautiful, unique chocolate-brown Siberian Husky with piercing blue eyes.

A beautiful, chocolate-brown pup named SeQuoi (or Quoi for short) has social media swooning over his piercing blue eyes and wolf-like brown coat – despite being 100 percent Siberian Husky.

SeQuoi Tenk might seem like an unusual name, but there is a meaning behind it. “His first name SeQuoi is after a sequoia tree,” Nikki tells My Modern Met.

“They say a name can really shape a personality, and I wanted him to be big, tall, and strong like a sequoia tree is.” She continues, “Tenko is Japanese for ‘heavenly fox,’ and as much as I wanted him to be strong, I also wanted him to be sweet, which he totally is!”

Nikki says that thanks to his unusual coloring, Quoi often finds himself the center of attention, saying:

“All-brown huskies are extremely rare, so it’s no surprise that Quoi attracts plenty of attention. Everywhere we go, people stop in their tracks wanting to pet him.”

Despite initially trying to find an older dog to rescue, Nikki said that because she doesn’t have a permanent home, she was unable to adopt it from the animal sanctuary she had been in contact with, but added that upon meeting Quoi as a puppy, she realized he was the ‘dog she needed’.

“The puppy route was my only choice to get a dog,” she explains. “While he wasn’t the dog I was searching for, he was exactly the dog I needed. Full of attitude and goofiness.”

Quoi and his owner are currently traveling across the US as they find a new home, with their entire journey being documented on the good boy’s Instagram page, which boasts an impressive 22,000 followers.
