The term “blep”, if you don’t already know, refers to when an animal keeps part of its tongue sticking out of its mouth. A cute name for a cute appearance! And this little blep-master is sticking his tongue out 24/7.
In an interview with Ikiru’s parents, Rich and Emma, said that although Ikiru may look a bit weird, he is perfectly healthy. He simply likes to stick his tongue out!
Sticking out its tongue gives the kitten a sleepy and adorable appearance. That silly expression is what convinced Rick and Emma to make him part of their family when he was a little kitten and that’s what made him so popular on social media.
Ikiru has more than 74,000 followers on Instagram, all of whom swoon over his small face and silly expressions every day.
