Mama Kona is the sweetest puppy helping foster kittens for Asa, a lifeguard from Arlington, Virginia.
This house is like a magical kingdom where kittens, rabbits and puppies can be seen living in harmony and love. Kona and another puppy, Peeby, get along well with the cutest cats and bunnies.
When cats like Freckles needed a break to care for their Easter Egg kittens, Mama Kona was there, sweetly and patiently nursing the babies. You can see that this puppy really loves kittens, a perfect nanny dog. When the kittens arrive, the sweet dog wags his tail to greet them.
Kittens get used to interacting with dogs by spending time with Kona. Therefore, they are easier to place in homes that may have dogs. Kono has too much love to give. It may not be like this but Nori absolutely loves Kona. Of her siblings, she is the most open to resident dogs. Hopefully we can find you a family with some siblings, Nori.
Recently, Mama Kona met “The Teenies” (Mochi, Nori, Tofu and Miso) who eventually joined Arlington’s Animal Welfare League. Immediately after arriving in foster care, the kittens met Kona, and had “Mama Kona’s magic” when they were having the best time.
Kona wagged her tail wanting to enter the foster room. Then this happened: “I loved watching Kona play with the fosters. It’s cute that she’s gentle with the kids.”
Even when surrounded by mischievous teenagers, Mama Kona is gentle and naps as they play around her. Eventually, the kittens got tired and took a nap with their gentle nanny.
Sometimes, an independent kitten prefers the company of Kona. For example, this kitten, Jessee, enjoys cuddling the puppy more than its littermates. Now, Asa will find a house where he will have a puppy. But how can there be a dog as sweet as Kona?
