Seeing the loving care these gorgeous little chimps give to the dog proves once again how beautiful and wonderful all animals are.
Do you believe in love between different animals? Recently in Africa there was a very interesting story about a dog being cared for by a pack of chimpanzees.
The story begins with a group of chimpanzee activists in Liberia. There, they come across “Snafu” , a puppy by the roadside. However, they could not find a veterinary hospital nearby. His life is at a slow pace and is about to die. Activists had to bring Snafu back to where they were, a chimpanzee sanctuary, for care and treatment.
Unexpectedly, the chimpanzees here were all very excited about the arrival of a puppy. The sanctuary’s veterinarians immediately began treatment for Snafu. Snafu the dog suffers from sores and nutritional deficiencies. His life is very fragile, he can completely be in danger, at any time during the treatment. The chimpanzees in the sanctuary also participate in the care and love of Snafu like their family. They bathed Snafu and used loving gestures, Snafu seemed very happy about this.
But love seems to be an effective one, Snafu recovers very quickly like a mystical miracle. His wounds began to appear on the young skin and Snafu was always annoyed by the itching. So the doctors put a hat on his neck to prevent Snafu from biting.
Snafu adapts very well to the environment here, he and the chimpanzee look like an inseparable family. The chimpanzees often help Snafu move around to relieve discomfort from the wound.
Some time later, Snafu is completely healthy and beautiful. He was adopted by a family in Colorado. They quickly bonded together. Surely Snafu will never forget the precious time spent with the chimpanzees in the Liberian reserve. It is a wonderful loving time that people also want to have in this life.
