That’s when the 19-year-old from York saw the face of the Parson Russell Terrier in the clouds, just hours after her death. Lucy shared a photo of her adorable dog shaped clouds on Twitter and her post went viral quickly, receiving over a thousand likes. However, Lucy wasn’t the only one who saw their old pet in the sky; other owners shared their stories above after seeing Lucy’s post.

Lucy saw her dog Sunny’s face in the clouds just hours after it died, Lucy captured her dog’s face in the clouds. When Sunny appeared with Lucy, the woman was sitting in the same car seat where the dog had had a seizure and had died just hours earlier. Clouds formed over the dog’s face just as Lucy and her boyfriend were driving past Clifton Ings where Sunny used to go for a walk.

Lucy said she laughed to herself and thought “that’s my girl” when she saw Sunny’s face. She says she knows her dog is letting her family know she’s fine. According to Lucy, her boyfriend couldn’t believe what the two of them saw. She added that it was a special moment that they will always cherish.

Lucy said that Sunny is a very sweet, loving and caring dog. The owner said that she loved Lucy very much and cherished “every moment with her” until her death. “You can never really prepare yourself for these things.”

Lucy revealed to us that she had a hunch that her story would go viral. “It is a lovely and comforting story for us animal lovers, especially those who have lost their pets. I noticed a lot of people putting their cloud photos underneath and it was a lovely read for everyone!”
