Guy Goes To Move ‘D.ᴇ.ᴀ.ᴅ’ Dog From Road And Ends Up Falling In Love

Last November, Riddle Paliwal and Akash Saxena, the founders of the animal welfare organization Kartavya Society in India, were on their way home from work when they came across something lying on the road and immediately made their hearts ʙʀᴏᴋᴇɴ.

There, what lay seemingly lifeless in the middle of a busy road, was a lost dog. Paliwal and Saxena decide to stop.

“We thought we should at least take him home and give him a proper burial,” Paliwal said. But then something almost miraculous happened.

After pulling over to the side of the road, Saxena entered a dangerous road as vehicles passed the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ dog. Then he bent down and picked him up.

That’s when Saxena saw the dog blink. “Akash shouted, ‘He’s alive!’” Paliwal said. The dog has a head wound that could have been caused by a passing car that hit and knocked it unconscious. The most important thing, however, is that, despite countless near misses, he survived the ordeal.

Paliwal said: “We picked him up and took him to the vet urgently. “We just wanted to save his life because it was a miracle he did it.” And that’s how “Miracle” got its name.

He has proven himself to be a fighter. Paliwal said: ‘Even the vets weren’t sure if he’d survive the severe head injury. “But he did.”

Slowly but surely, Miracle’s body recovered. And with each passing day, his friendly personality begins to shine. “He’s the sweetest kid you’ll ever meet,” Paliwal said. “His face always has a smile that makes you feel peaceful and full of joy.”

Paliwal and Saxena often try to find homes for the stray dogs they rescue.

But in Miracle’s case, they need look no further. “We decided to keep the Miracle with us,” Paliwal said. “We love him so much and can’t imagine our home without him. So he’s ours forever.” Miracle is now home.

The former stray dog, once presumed ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, has now been given a second chance at a happy life. And it’s all made possible thanks to Paliwal and Saxena for stopping to give him the dignity he deserves.

In the end, that’s why they founded the Kartavya Society — to help abandoned animals. “We believe that a person should never let go of a life that is struggling,” says Paliwal. “Seeing Miracle alive, happy and playing with other dogs is the happiest thing for us. It encourages us to help more dogs in need so we can save more ‘miracles’.
