Mother Elizabeth Spence posted a photo on social media of English Pointer baby Nora enjoying her daily nap in the cutest way possible cuddling up next to Spence’s eight-month-old son Archie.
Mashable spoke to Spence via email to learn more about the particularly lovable bond her son and Nora share.
“We got Nora from Funds For Furry Friends, a local rescue shelter, seven years ago,” Spence said. “Despite coming from an abusive background, his gentle and sweet nature shines through and we know for sure he will be a great family dog when the time comes.”
While Nora gets along well with Spence’s three children, her three rescue cats, and her two other rescue dogs, it’s clear that she and Archie are particularly close.
“I noticed a growing strong bond between Nora and Archie when Archie was about four months old and so I started photographing their everyday interactions, such as observing squirrels and squirrels,” Spence said. supervised joint naps in which they slept together”.
As for the photos, while she occasionally embellishes the photos by adding stuffed animals or other props, Spence explains, “Nora always finds her way to Archie alone whenever he takes a nap in our bed.”
Spence is “delighted to spread the love” by showing everyone these precious photos and hopes they show everyone “what amazing pet rescue animals can be and encourage them.” Encourage others to consider giving them a chance to be loved, too.
Sometimes Spence’s other pets even participate in the snooze festival.
