For Pippa the dog, receiving the mail each day is like opening presents on Christmas morning.
Pippa the dog always runs towards Martin Studer, a postman from Brisbane, Australia, whenever she sees him – she loves getting mail! In fact, the pooch enjoys it so much, the postman even writes tiny letters especially for her not to upset the good girl. “Sometimes, Pippa comes out for the daily delivery but there’s no mail for her to collect,” Martin explained. “So I have to improvise.”
“I’ve been on Pippa’s run for the last 2-3 years,” Studer told. “I have always written something to her. I just don’t want to disappoint her! She LOVES the postie. It really makes her day when we come by.”
The postage slip reads “Mail For Pippa,” along with a couple of hand-drawn hearts ― and she looks positively thrilled to receive her personalized letter.
While Studer posts many photos of the dogs he encounters during his workday, Pippa is the top dog when it comes to cuteness and mail appreciation. And their friendship is proof that canines and mailmen can live in harmony.
Pippa looks so appreciative that she received a letter. No wonder she waits for her favorite mailman to come by!
