Dᴇᴠᴀsᴛᴀᴛᴇᴅ dog Struggles To Hold Back Tears After Owner Leaves Him At The Dump

Chuckie – 4 years old was ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ at a landfill in De Doorns, South Africa, after losing his sight and is currently looking for a new home with owners who can pamper him.

He has spent the day wandering aimlessly around a landfill after his owner abandoned him and is desperately searching for a new home.

It is not known how long he spent in the landfill before being rescued by Sidewalk Specials, an animal charity dedicated to saving dogs from abusive situations. A spokesperson for Sidewalk Specials said: “We met Chuckie on Outreach in De Doorns. Her owner explained that Chuckie had lost her sight the previous year and that keeping her safe had become difficult.”

The vet confirmed that Chuckie is completely blind in his left eye and partially able to see in his right, which is likely to improve over time as his ᴛɪᴄᴋ-ʙɪᴛᴇ fever passes. When the group of volunteers met Chuckie, who is believed to be about four years old, he was trying to hold back tears as he was held in the arms of a volunteer.

However, they are pleased to hear that he has succeeded in navigating the world through his sense of smell and hearing, now that he can no longer see, especially since he crashed. into an unfamiliar environment.

He likes to go for a walk. He follows your sound very well and loves adventures. the spokesman added. “He loves other dogs, isn’t afraid of children, and ignores cats.”

Hailing from the UK, Rachael has built a “community of volunteers, veterinarians, welfare professionals, lawyers, engineers, photographers, videographers, editors and caterers that can hire skilled people who dedicate their free time” to help her achieve her goals.

But Chuckie isn’t the only dog saved by the Sidewalk Specials, as Scribble was taken into their care after he began following strangers home. Poor Scribble was wandering the streets when he started following people in the hopes that they would accept him into their family. The three-month-old baby was picked up by lifeguards in Manenberg, Cape Town, with an  ɪɴᴊᴜʀᴇᴅ leg.

A spokesperson for Sidewalks Specials said: “Scribble was kicked so hard that he now has a permanent limp. He is trying to follow people home in the hope of receiving love.”

“Within hours of the rescue, he was signed up for the Expresso Morning Show’s adoption segment, all thanks to Hill’s pet nutrition. What a different day for the dog. this little homeless person.”

Though Scribble couldn’t secure a home by following strangers on the street, five minutes of fame earned him a loving family.

The spokesperson added: “Scribble is accepted by a wide range of people. His home inspection has passed, his forms have been filled out and his fur mother and brother are awaiting treatment. eager!”
