This abandoned dog had all of its teeth pulled out by its previous owner, but is now being well cared for to heal. The Royal Animal Sanctuary in Tyrone, Georgia, revealed a particularly devastating story about a pet in their care on February 23: a small 9-month-old pit bull mix was taken by its owner before tooth extraction.
It is not known who did such a horrible thing to this unfortunate creature, but rescuers believe the puppy’s teeth were removed so it could be used as a “decoy” in a dogfight. . Despite his tragedy, he turned out to be a good dog at the animal shelter: “We couldn’t say no to accepting him, and he immediately won the hearts of all. both of us,” shared Royal Animal Refuge.
