Breeder Abandoned 5-Month-Old Pomeranian Because He Was “Too Big” Becomes Huge Star – Dogs Stories

Dogs may be man’s best friend but this doesn’t mean that man is always friendly toward dogs.

As one of the smallest dog breeds on Earth, Pomeranian is often loved for its tiny body and that adorable appearance. So when a Pomeranian dog is a bit oversized, many people just think he is not cute anymore. That’s also the reason why Bertram was dumped by his own breeders, they all assumed that this boy was “too big to sell”.

The 5-month-old baby was surrendered to a shelter in Tulsa and kind of became a celeb there. He was adored for his sweet, kind nature and chill, laid-back attitude. Even though the folks at the shelter wanted to stay with the endearing boy as long as possible, they still knew that they had to find him an official owner to be loved and cared for, and thankfully they didn’t have to wait too long.

Luckily for Bert, New York artist Kathy Grayson found him on Petfinder and immediately decided to adopt the pup.

Originally listed as “Jasper,” she said there was something about his eyes that caught her attention. “I flew to Tulsa and drove to the town to pick him up, it was a wonderful adventure. The shelter was sad to see him go, he definitely had gotten some special extra love there,” Grayson told.

Bertram (or Bert as Kathy often calls him) had a rocky start, but his life was changed right at that moment. Maybe fate had it work out that way so they could meet and share their happy life with each other.

Now, Bert helps Kathy in her art gallery as an art connoisseur

“I gave him his own Instagram as he was taking over my art gallery page! I need to post paintings and people just wanted to see Bert”

And to no one’s surprise, Kathy wasn’t the only one who found Bert extraordinary and incredibly charming, countless Instagram users have a crush on the fantastic boy too! His Instagram account has racked up over 443k followers so far, and people just can’t get enough of his cuteness.
